Living Arts Initiative

Original commissions by local artists installed throughout No Surf House.

Rather than treating the space as static lodging, this program transforms the house into an evolving, artist-driven environment. Each commissioned piece becomes part of a growing collection that reflects the creativity and perspective of Cleveland's artistic community.

Installations range from murals to mixed-media work and are integrated directly into the living spaces used by visiting musicians. The result is a setting that is not only functional, but immersive — created by artists, for artists.

Over time, the goal is to build a cohesive, site-specific body of work that defines the identity of the house.

The public is invited to experience these installations during open house events and community programming.

No Surf House is not just a place to stay — it is a place shaped by the artists who pass through it.
