Free and subsidized lodging for touring musicians performing in Northeast Ohio.
Artists on the road often face a simple problem: finding a safe, affordable place to stay between shows. Hotel costs can quickly outweigh what a band earns from a gig, forcing many to cut tours short or skip cities entirely.
This program removes that barrier.
Guests stay at No Surf House, a shared artist space designed for people actively touring. The house includes furnished guest rooms, communal living space, a kitchen, laundry, and areas to relax or connect with other musicians. Stays are typically up to three nights and are available to artists performing at venues across the region.
Eligibility is based on income and touring activity. For artists below a set threshold, stays are free. Others contribute a small percentage of their show guarantee.
The goal is simple:
make it financially possible for working musicians to come through Cleveland.
